Screening of the Documentary EnstANtane and an Interview with Director Hakan Aytekin was held

In the series of film screenings on migration initiated by our Center to draw attention to the issue of migration and raise awareness, this month the documentary EnstANtane, written and directed by Hakan Aytekin, was screened on January 8, 2024 at the Social Sciences Building Cinema Hall. In the documentary EnstANtane, whose starting point is an ordinary group photo frame taken in Mardin-İdil in the late 1980s, international migration is discussed in the context of "those who go" and "those who stay", and the questions "Is it difficult to go, to stay or to be together again?" are sought through a snapshot.
After the screening, which was held with the participation of the members of our university, Director Hakan Aytekin and Özcan Geçer, the producer of the documentary, and our Deputy Center Director. Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Anlam Filiz moderated a pleasant conversation. The program ended with a photo shoot with all participants in order to leave an "memory" to history.
