Dr. Fatma Güzin Ağca Varoğlu, a lecturer from the Department of Sociology at our University's Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences, was the speaker, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Soytürk, a lecturer from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was the moderator. Screening of the Documentary EnstANtane and an Interview with Director Hakan Aytekin was held
In the series of film screenings on migration initiated by our Center to draw attention to the issue of migration and raise awareness, this month the documentary EnstANtane, written and directed by Hakan Aytekin, was screened on January 8, 2024 at the Social Sciences Building Cinema Hall. In the documentary EnstANtane, whose starting point is an ordinary group photo frame taken in Mardin-İdil in the late 1980s, international migration is discussed in the context of "those who go" and "those who stay", and the questions "Is it difficult to go, to stay or to be together again?" are sought through a snapshot.
"Migration: Dimensions of Social, Organizational and Individual Justice" Seminar was held
